In any business it is important to keep organized but especially if you are working out of your home as reseller. Here are a few tips that might help you keep you organized and under control!

1. Keep a file for each of your customers and put any information that you find out about them into it. That way, you can remember when their birthday is, what their dogs name is or if they dislike something in particular. You will also know what you have sold each individual, company or organization so that you will be able to know what other products to promote to them.

2. Get one of those really big calendars that you can keep track of everything on. Keep track of when you called different contacts and what was talked about. You can also keep track of any deadlines that you might have.

3. One of the most important things to keep track of is contact information. You can get an address book, keep it all in your computer or put it on index cards. However you do it, make sure that you keep track of who you have talked with at each company and when you last talked to them so that you are able to keep up a report with them.

Schools are a wonderful place to sell Xlnt Idea Inc. products to because they can get so much use out of them and can usually find or raise the funds for it. If you are going to resell to a school, however, you need to know which people to talk to first and how to go about it so that you don’t get shut out right away. There are three different people who you should approach first if you want to get into a selling to a school and they are the following.

- The Grad Parents – Grad moms in particular are known for their enthusiastic view on getting the most that they can for their children’s graduation and they are perfect to talk to about how a DVD looking at the highlights of the graduation ceremony and prom. Once you get them on board with the idea, there is no stopping them.

- The Yearbook Committee – This group of kids is who you need to talk to about the idea of a DVD Yearbook. With the number of kids in a school, very often they can pay for the cost of a DVD publisher with just the regular yearbook costs and that means that they could use it for years to come for only the cost of ink. Plus a DVD yearbook will give them so much more than a regular yearbook ever could.

- The Sports Teams – Try and get the sports teams involved. Let them know how they can produce multiple copies of their games to sell to their fans or else to keep track of what they are doing and how to improve.

It doesn’t matter if you are brand new to reselling or if you are a seasoned professional, every once in a while we can all learn something new that will help us in the reselling business. Here are a few tips and hints that might help you boost your sales or bring back returning customers!

1. We have all heard the term “the customer is always right!” but does that mean that they can tell you exactly how to run your business? No, but it is a good idea to listen to their ideas, even if they are just rants and let them know that you are listening and really do care what they are saying. If they have a good idea, let them know and always thank them for their input.

2. Remember the little things! One of the best ways to get a return customer is to let them know that you see them as individual people instead of just a dollar sign. Sometimes all this takes is a little note on their birthday or at Christmas or remembering something that they talked about and asking them about it later.

3. Keep information about the competition. Keep reviews and information about the competitions products so that you can effectively compare the products and convince your customers that they don’t need to go anywhere else. It also helps save them time with researching the competition which will make them grateful!

Spring tends to be the time of year where people are wanting to get outside and not sit in front of the computer or CD Publisher, creating products or samples. So what can you do as a reseller to get them excited about owning a CD or DVD publisher and boost your sales even when the sunshine is pulling them away? There are a bunch of things that can get their attention and here are a few of them.

1. Hold a Spring Savings event! Whether its offering to throw in a couple of ink cartridges for free or knocking the price down just a little, people love to get things for less and it is a sure way to get your sales up no matter what the weather.

2. When demonstrating your products, use spring designs to make it feel more light and happy and bring the mood up. People like to see bright things after a long winter indoors!

3. Give them examples of how they can use a CD or DVD publisher to do promote the things they love doing! If its for personal use, tell them how to make a DVD Greeting Card for the grandparents of the family in their spring activities. If its a business, tell them how to promote their business through CD business cards that include all of their upcoming events!
